Honestly, no one in this world can understand you, not your parents, neither your best friend or your lover. We all think someone is out there who would understand how we feel. Understanding is completely at a deep level. No one in this world understands you more than you. That’s why u have to deal with your problems, you have to pull yourself out of dirt because truly everybody else is busy understanding their selves they have no time to help or think about you.

Not always true. Some people actually can take a hint or they realize they’ve done enough emotional damage to you that they should just let you go. This happens often with sincere and kind people who don’t like you the same way you like them.

Granted, most of the time we sabotage ourselves. We think being friendly with them will get us to where we want to be but treating a person you want to be with like a friend right out of the gate sends the wrong signal and places you in your own psychological prison. (commonly referred to as the friendzone). This psychological prison is exactly that, psychological. It’s not real. You can walk away at any time. But, I digress.

If you tried to start a relationship with a genuine person and it just didn’t work because you sent the wrong signals or they simply don’t have the capacity to like you, let alone love you, that person will be more likely to be empathetic and understand your pain and let you go your own way. And that’s aside from the fact they don’t deserve you.

It’s the immature folks (push/pull people I like to call them) that are the problem. When you push, they pull away. When you finally decide to pull away, their appetite for attention is no longer sated and they push. Directly linked to low self esteem and insecurities they possess.

Mature people can separate their own need for attention, love, and affection from the non-mutual situation at hand and let you go do you. It may not be the mark of a girl (or guy if that’s your thing) that you bring home to the family, but it is the mark of a decent human being.
